he chocolate factory was created in 1994 by Bernard Castelain in this historical place.

“Le Palet des Papes”, first chocolate created by the factory, is still one of our clientele favourites.

Later on, were created milk chocolate bars, dark chocolate bars and other chocolate bonbons.

In 2005, the main part of the factory production moved to Althen Des Paluds, just a few kilometres from there.

In 2007, Laurence Castelain, his daughter, transformed the place in an initiatory course of the senses and flavours.
